CORSINI,

January 25, 2014

It is with great sadness the we have to announce to our friends that our daughter Cristina has passed away due to complications arising from pneumonia. Cristina was born prematurely July 22, 1988, she was 27 weeks and weighed 2 pounds. After a long struggle she was able to come home where she had a short but fruitful life. Cristina went to Indian Creek Public School and the Pines where she spent the best years of her life. After that, she went to Sass Road where she also enjoyed her time there. Cristina frequented the Children's Treatment Centre often and we are grateful for their support as well. She also enjoyed many trips to Florida where she spent most of her time on the beach or on the trail with her Mother and her dogs. Cristina lived at home until the age of 22 where due to her Mothers illness moved to Community Living's Lacroix Street home. There, as always she made friends with staff and residents, Cristina touched many lives over her life and taught many of us compassion and perseverance. She had an incredible zest for life and always saw the glass half full despite her disabilities. we want to acknowledge gratitude towards everyone who helped Cristina as Cristina interacted with many people throughout these difficult times, with special thanks to Cathy, Lorraine, Christina, Lori, her two aunts and most important of all Marlene Delyzer who has always been affectionately at her side. We will never forget Cristina's expressive eyes, sense of honour and of course her charisma. She will be certainly missed by all of us especially her brother Adriano with whom she had a special relationship.
A celebration of her life event will take place at a later date.

Lise & Carlo Corsini
Rural Route 6, Chatham, Ontario N7M 5J6
