<div itemprop="description">LOGAN, Fenton Orland, of Chatham passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the CKHA, Sydenham Campus. Born in Walkerville, 90 years ago, son of the late Clayton Logan and Annie (MacFarlane). His beloved first wife Florence Jean (Coleman) Logan predeceased in 1981. Surviving are his beloved wife Joan (Lloyd) Logan, two daughters Donna Jean Dickson (Gordon) of Blenheim, Laurie Logan of Chatham, Stepchildren Graham Lloyd (Louise) of Etobicoke, Colin Lloyd (Gilberte) of Angus and Geoffrey Lloyd (Yvette) of Amherstburg, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Lorne and Viden, sister Muriel and son in law Edward Cofell. Fenton worked on the family farm in Croton until he opened his own business as Fent's Welding in Thamesville. He later worked as a welder in London, Woodstock and St. Thomas before moving back to this area. Fenton was the maintenance welder at South West Regional Centre from 1961 until his retirement in 1987. Fenton loved working with wood and stained glass and enjoyed camping and eating out. He was the family&quot; fix it man&quot; and times with family were his greatest joy. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a past member of Victoria Ave. United Church and was a founding member of St. Paul's Congregational Church. The latter years he worshipped at Christ Church Anglican. Friends will be received for visitation at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham (519-352-2390) on Monday, November 4th from 2-4:30 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday November 5 at 11:00 am. A private interment service will take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery following cremation.
