<div itemprop="description">GOLDSMITH, Mr. Frederick Wallace, It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Goldsmith on Friday June 26, 2015 at C.K.H.A. Public General Campus in his 86th year. Husband of the late Mary Lucille Goldsmith (2004). Father of Herb and his wife Penny of Pickering, Scott and his wife Diana of Chatham, Doug and his wife Linda of Chatham and Lori and her husband Pat McDonnell. Grandfather of Michelle &amp; Stu Heard, Jeff &amp; Gaby, Steven &amp; Sally, Stacy &amp; Trevor Jacobs, Colin &amp; Michelle, Lauren (Brandon), Andrew, Chantelle &amp; Sean Hitchcock, Nicole &amp; Jeremy Britton, Christy &amp; Tyler Campbell, Kyle &amp; Katie. Great grandfather to, Lexie, Ella, Nash, Toews, Leddy, Jaxon, Knox, Taylor, Avery, Mason, Mackenzie, Larkyn, Justin, Alexander &amp; Julien. Brother of James, the late Joy Johnson, Jeanne, Richard, Larry and Mary Kay. Brother in law to Bert Renaud &amp; Nancy Steele. Also survived by his special friend Joyce Christian. Fred was a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of Chatham, active member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and enjoyed the Wednesday nights with the Chatham Concert Band. He worked for over 27 years as grocery manager in Chatham. Fred will be deeply missed by his entire family. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday July 2, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave. (519-352-2390). A funeral service will take place Friday July 3, 2015 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Cremation to follow.
