<div itemprop="description">BUCHAN, Mrs. Margaret Viola passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Riverview Gardens. Daughter of the late John and Laura Longmire. Wife of the late Stanley James Buchan (1988). Mother of Sheila Riley (Dennis of Arizona), Janice Butler (the late Steve 2012) of Chatham, Pam Buchan (David Waechter) of St. Clements, Joanne Pratt of Kitchener, Lawrence Buchan (Angeles Buchan) of Mississauga and James Buchan (Donna Buchan) of Chatham. Grandmother of 11. Great grandmother of 8. Sister of Dalores Cable, Diane Zeigler. Predeceased by brothers Angus Longmire, Les Longmire, Edward Longmire and sisters Elizabeth Hewitt and June Heier. Also survived by sister-in-law Bernice Longmire of Kitchener. Margaret was an active soldier with the Salvation Army, leader with Girl Guides (Brown Owl), was a devoted knitter, very active in visiting the sick and worked for more than 30 years at Zellers in the Skillet Restuarant. . She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her friends and family. The family will receive friends and relative on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave., Chatham (519-352-2390). A funeral service will take place Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am the Salvation Army Citadel (46 Orangewood Blvd, Chatham). Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society. <br /> <br /></div>
