Eldridge, Serenity Joy - Stillborn at 24 weeks on Sunday August 11 at approximately 1:00 am at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Precious daughter of Jeff and Melinda (Lynn) Eldridge, and special little sister to Avery Michael, Mackenzie Grace, Sydney Faith, and Zachary Lloyd. Lovingly remembered by Great Grandparents Lloyd and Ruby Apthorp, Grandparents Glen and Kathy Eldridge, "Nan" Dena Wilson, and greeted in Heaven by "Papa" Bruce Wilson. Also remembered by several Uncles, Aunts, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to gather for a service at Evangel Community Church at 76 Sandys St. in Chatham, on Thursday August 15th, at 3:00 pm. Mackenzie has requested that any who wishes to attend would dress in colorful casual clothing and we believe that Serenity would have liked that as well. A private committal service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Serenity can be made to Refuge Pregnancy Center. Online condolences are welcome at www.bowmanfh.ca Arrangements entrusted to BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Avenue (519-352-2390)

Precious
Holding a new baby in your arms,
The way to describe him or her is precious.
Their tiny hands grasping at everything; their wide eyes
Taking the world; their toothless grins that melt your
heart… babies are truly treasures.
They are most precious to the Saviour because they are
His. He purchased them with His own blood. When Jesus
Takes a baby in His arms, He sees beyond that tiny fragile
Body to the possibilities, the potential, the destiny of that
child… both in this life and in the world to come. An
eternal destiny made possible through His sacrifice.

David Bowman
